Authorities said a gunman killed two people when he opened fire inside a subway car at a Santiago metro station Sunday. Minutes later, the suspected gunman killed himself outside the Plaza de Maipu station, CNN Chile reported.
The Investigative Police of Chile said the shooter was a former janitor for the agency. He was relieved of his duties in 1994 after repeated misconduct, police said.
Authorities were still investigating the shooting.
COMMENT: I think this is very bad for Chile becuase it refelcts the violence that certains lives in all the world. But its a very interesting observation that the attack occurs in the subway, so I think this produce scare in people to go away with total security.
